As an active runner, fitness enthusiast and former amateur boxer, Melissa understands the needs of athletes.
Through her own injury and rehab process, she became intrigued by musculoskeletal and myofascial issues and their impact on athletic performance.
Melissa uses techniques that aid in reducing tension while increasing mobility in addition to sport specific treatments, deep tissue massage, Fascial Stretch Therapy, IASTM and supportive taping.
Melissa is also a certified JOGA instructor, a hybrid style of yoga that focuses on dynamic stretching, joint mobility and stability along with building strength and balance.
A passionate runner in the Toronto area, Melissa has completed 4 half marathons, among a handful of 5 and 10 km races. You can find her running weekly with the Parkdale Roadrunners where she trains, races and cheers on her crew mates.
